Welcome to the home of Hi-Torque Rollers, exclusively owned, produced and sold by Dan & Irma Salzmann. What began as a desire to develop a better performing, stronger, more reliable roller for his own machine has now become an answer for a lot of sledders who are experiencing the same difficulties as Dan was.

Dan has been a machinist for some 40 years. For the greatest portion of that time he has run his own job shop which many times has demanded innovative expertise to get the job done to his satisfaction. He has high expectations for himself as well as his customer's projects and needs. This same determination for excellence played a big part in the development of these rollers.

Dan took up sledding a bit later in life than many sledders but found it an extremely enjoyable sport and still spends a lot of time riding with his sons, grandson and friends here in the mountains surrounding the Creston Valley in southeastern British Columbia.

Now that Dan and I are on our own again in life I am enjoying the challenge of taking care of the office part of the business. I really enjoy the contact with all the different sledders across North America and beyond. It is very rewarding to hear from repeat customers who are very satisfied with our product.

When we say we will stand behind our rollers, we mean just that, as we have worked very hard to produce a roller to withstand the severe punishment of extreme riding.

At Hi-Torque Rollers we have endeavored to produce a roller of the highest quality that in most cases will give years of reliable service.

We warranty our secondary rollers for up to 1 year from date of purchase. In the event of roller failure just contact us and we will work out a solution that is satisfactory to you.
